Gramiti | A Trusted Place for Farmers

Before you buy any fungicide online, run through a short label checklist. Crop: is your fruit or vegetable named? Disease: is the problem listed, not just “fungal diseases”? Dose: per litre, per 15-litre pump and per acre. Timing: at what stage, and how many days apart should sprays be? Waiting period: how many days before harvest must you stop? Compatibility: can it be mixed with other products? Organic growers should add one more question: is this input allowed by my certifying body? An organic fungicide for vegetables, such as sulphur, certain copper products or bio-agents, must be approved before use. The chemical fungicides on Gramiti are not organic products and are not suitable for certified organic farms. For a fungicide spray for fruits or vegetables in a non-certified farm, keep a record of each spray and rotate products with different modes of action. Wear gloves, goggles and a mask, and store products in their original packs away from food. Gramiti – A Trusted Place for Farmers lists doses and crops on each product page.
