Dr. Abhishek Mitra, MBBS, MS, MCh, is a Consultant in GI and HPB Cancer Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi, with over 20 years of experience in gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship in GI and HPB Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and is recognized as the first certified GI and HPB Oncology surgeon in North India.

Dr. Mitra specializes in complex surgical procedures involving the esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, colon, and rectum. His expertise encompasses open, advanced laparoscopic, and robotic surgery, with a focus on complex gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatobiliary cancers.
