Do you fit flooring I have bought elsewhere?
Yes, happily. We fit engineered, solid and parquet floors from any supplier, and if what you have bought is wrong for the room we will say so before the packs are opened, not after. Our own boards come with 5 percent off when we fit them, but there is no obligation either way.
How long does fitting take?
Reckon on one day of fitting plus a day of subfloor work for a single room of 20 square metres in plank. A whole ground floor of a terraced house is typically a week, preparation and finishing included. Parquet runs longer than plank because of the sanding and finishing stages.
Do I need to move out?
No. We work room by room where the house allows, seal doorways against dust and leave the place usable every evening. The only time you must stay off a floor is while a finish cures, and we plan that around you rather than the other way round.
