Joan Wright, PhD is an author, former clinical psychologist, consultant, and mentor whose life and professional experiences form the foundation of her memoir, A Psychologist’s Memoir: What I Wish I Would Have Known Before I Knew It. For more than three decades, she worked in clinical psychology and specialized in complex trauma involving teens, young offenders, military veterans, and families. She also founded Joan Wright & Associates and later established the MindShift Clinic, which grew into a multidisciplinary clinical team.
